How was the movie "The Expendables"

I was again invited by a friend to watch the premier screening of the movie The Expendables last night at Powerplant Cinema.

The movie became more interesting because he was supported by top grossing action lead stars like Jason Statham of The Transporter, Jet Li of The One, Randy Couture of UFC, Steve Austin of WWF, Dolf Lundgren of Universal Soldiers, and the funny negro macho Terry Crews.

Anyway, allow me to share my short comments and review about the film:

1. UNIQUE - have you imagined Jet Li as a side kick being the shortest among the list. not to mention he was using firearms and less martial arts.
2. ACTION PACKED - full of action kaso limited lang sa mga gun fights. You only approciate this part if you have a better sound system.
4. PREDICTABLE - di ka mapapaisip sa kwento. tamang dinaan lang sa casting. parang ordinaryong rescue and demolition operation and nangyari. alam mo na agad kung paano matatapos ang kwento.

Di malayong magkaroon ng Pinoy version nito in the next few months. Imagine mo magsasama-sama sila Bong Revilla, Cesar Montano, Robin Padilla, Lito Lapid and directed by Philip Salvador.

Bottomline, i will rate this 3 out of 5 for the effort.
